Reformer Web Vblogging?
The newspaper Industry is now in the video blogging BIZ. The Brattleboro Reformer now captures video with a small hand held hard disk camera and uploads footage to Youtube. As more and more people upload into Youtube and store video on the web, where does that leave public access?
Public access stations across the nation must follow and have a strong web presence to keep up with the changing times. Community members who may not have access to video equipment can use our stations resources to film community events and upload there message into Youtube for the world.
FACT TV needs to become the educational and resource center for all video and broadcast technologies in our community, and we are currently working to develop sections of our website that you can use to learn more. Contact Us to find out more or visit our Forums

FACT TV Forms Contract Negotiation Committee
FACT TV is in it's final months of operating under their agreement with Comcast Cable. The current contract, which was signed in 1998, is due to expire in December. The FACT Board has been preparing for the negotiation process by conducting a community needs assessment to determine the public access needs of the communities we serve. Imput from the public is crucial in this process and FACT will be asking members and the general public to participate in this needs assessment. A brief survey will be posted on this web site in the near future.
