The Miss Bellows Falls Diner, a cherished community hub, is facing challenges due to deferred maintenance and economic shifts. To tackle these, the concept of Community Supported Enterprises was introduced, with nonprofit organizations like Rockingham for Progress playing a key role. The diner's restoration project involves community engagement, fundraising, and collaboration with experts. The plan includes additional construction, increased seating, and accessibility compliance. The goal is to reduce the need for grants and ensure the diner's successful restoration.
