Main Street Arts in conjunction with senior solutions paired four singer songwriters with six seniors to create original songs about their lives. On March 2, 2025 the songs were performed in concert at Main Street Arts in Saxtons River Vermont. The concert kicks off with excitement as the Life Songs project pairs songwriters with elders to share their stories. A touching story about Stan showcases his kindness and influence. A tribute to Tom highlights his wisdom and their collaborative song. The upcoming Tales from the Land project plans to interview individuals with land experiences and engage youth in play creation. The event wraps up with thanks to attendees and an invitation to connect.
