Falls Area Community Television Event Application

At FACT, we’re excited to offer free video coverage for eligible events in the towns and cities we serve. If your event is approved, as the sponsoring organization, you will be expected to:

  1. Accept full responsibility for the content of the program, talent, and necessary releases.
  2. Provide FACT with relevant details about the event, such as time, date and location, and any descriptions of the event including topic, speakers, etc.
  3. Provide FACT with any technical details relating to audio or lighting facilities that may exist at the event location.
  4. Make every effort possible to publicize the broadcast of the finished program on FACT’s channels and/or website.
  5. Acknowledge FACT for providing free video coverage of the event, either during the event or other appropriate means.

Are you willing to pay for the event coverage if FACT TV is not able to cover it for free or at a reduced rate?(Required)
The cost of covering an event will vary based on its specific needs, such as the number of camera operators, the duration, and other factors. We will contact you to finalize the pricing, but here is a breakdown for your reference: • Events lasting 1-3 hours: Prices increase for events exceeding 3 hours. • One-person production: $180 • Two-person production crew: $270 • Three-person production crew: $360
Will you be using a PA (or other audio) system?(Required)
Please note that your event may be worthy of coverage, but FACT TV might not have the funds to cover it for free at the time of your submission. Additionally, for multiple events, such as a sports season, we will consider covering one event for free. For any additional events, we may offer coverage at a reduced rate if needed.
